One: According to urban legend, Prime Ministers have sometimes insisted on honours and awards that can best be described as controversial. The monarch of the day expressed disapproval by being unavoidably detained elsewhere on the day of the investiture, delegating the distasteful task to somebody else. Honours (if that is the right word) do not get much more controversial than those which a supine Richy Scumbag has allowed Johnson to put forward. Would it be appropriate for King Charles to express his disapproval by being unavoidably detained on the day of the investiture and delegating the unpleasant duty to, well, for instance, er … somebody like Prince Andrew?
